Day 2 - I'm Thankful for my Husband!

You hear this often from me, but it is the honest truth. I truly am thankful for my husband. There were some in the past that I thought was the one, "but God" knew best. To make a long story short, my husband and I met in church, knew each other from church, sung in the choir together, and now the church is part of our marriage. What do I mean by that? We share each other moments at church together and it's a joy. God is the head in both of our lives and our marriage and there is no other way.

Now, there are times when I want to punch him, but I wouldn't change anything about it. My marriage has never been perfect and it's not going to be because we are not perfect people. We both mess up and we both help each other out. I pick up where he left off, and vice versa. It's a team effort and you have to work for it.

Therefore, I am truly thankful for my husband, Jerry Gaston, Jr. He is a great husband, father, brother, son, choir director, singer, hunter, hard worker, human GPS (inside joke), supporter, listener, cook, provider, and so much more.
